Most major carriers, domestic and international, are now in a rush to add in-flight Wi-Fi. Just like fast food restaurants have figured out that $5 is the magic number you are willing to pay for lunch, airlines have finally figured out that passengers do not want to be "unwired during flight", and are willing to pay for it. Most pricing models make sense, especially for business travelers on longer haul flights, ranging from $5.95 to $12.95. Features will allow flyers access to the web, instant messaging and emailing. However, when your favorite carrier adds Wi-fi make sure they have power ports for your laptop, or you may have to haul an extra battery!
