How to Get Started

We offer a variety of tours. Each is customizable according to your groups' interests. You can add/subtract days or sights, choose your preferred level of accommodations, or focus your trip on a particular area of interest. You can also look through the sample tours in our Tour Finder to mix & match itineraries to create a trip that's just right for your group.

We are a full-service travel agency, so flights are included. We can also provide other ground services, meals, meeting space, international calling, WiFi, & whatever else you may need.

South Africa: St. Lucia Volunteer Project

1-9 People 10+ People Volunteer


The daycare center is located in the impressive Greater St. Lucia Wetland Park. It’s a heart-warming place where children, ages 1-5, are looked after by a few dedicated local women. Volunteers will help care for the orphans & give them the individual attention they desperately need. In addition, you will be involved in the Home Based Care Project (providing sick people with support & medical assistance in their own homes), as well as refurbishing classrooms for area primary schools.

Minimal recommended length of stay 10 days. 


Specialized Program: Medical & Community Work

These are the ways in which volunteers can assist in St. Lucia:
  • Assist with home based care for sick patients in their rural homes
  • Help raise awareness on preventing the spread of HIV/AIDS virus
  • Help improve living conditions, nutrition, school equipment & vegetable gardens for the most needy families & help them become self sustaining

Specialized Program: Education, Orphan Care & Community Work

These are the ways in which volunteers can assist in St. Lucia
  • Teaching the children about different themes & subjects with the aid of a translator
  • Developing the children’s imagination & creative skills through crafts
  • Playing games & singing songs
  • Help prepare meals for children & feed the babies
  • Helping to refurbish the day care centre buildings
  • Help deliver health & nutrition information & provide healthy foods to a group of adults many of whom are HIV positive

  • The project fee entails financing that goes directly back into the project that you are involved with. It facilitates funding for items such as books for the orphans, building materials, & educational resources.

  • Comprehensive orientation program
  • All daily transfers to & from your projects during your stay
  • Full board & lodging, which includes 3 meals a day at our volunteer house
