New Year Updates From FTI

The entire team at FTI would like to thank you for choosing us as your travel partner in 2017. As always, it’s an honor to be able to plan trips that change lives!

We’d like to take a moment to share some of the exciting things that have been happening.

FTI Team Members

In 2017, we celebrated two milestone work anniversaries! Joan & Jeff have both been members of the FTI family for 30 years!

We also had six new team members join the FTI family! We were thrilled to expand our Group Sales team with the addition of Rusty Farmer, Hanna Bass, Tyler Favale & Yota Alexandropoulou. Priscilla Larry was also promoted to group sales from the Group Support department. To help with the rapid growth of our sales team we also welcomed Erin Wolfe to Group Support and Shawn Calvin to our IT department. We’re happy to have all their talents & wonderful personalities in our office.

Travel to Cuba with FTI!

After a couple years of hard work, FTI is now one of a small number of U.S. travel providers able to work directly with vetted ground partners in Cuba. We insist on working directly with ground service providers to ensure our clients receive quality service at the best value. In 2017, we sent our first student groups on custom educational trips designed to meet their academic goals as well as the government’s people-to-people requirements. We also launched a new section of our website dedicated to Cuba tours.

Exploratory Trips & Vision Trips

We started off the year with an exploratory trip to Iceland where a group of professors were able to tour the country & meet with experts in their fields. In March, we led a vision trip to Guatemala to visit our partner projects; each of the participants were seeking opportunities for their church to serve the local communities there.

In January we have a group traveling with us to Israel to familiarize themselves with the sites before leading their own groups. And, we are currently working out the final details for an October vision trip to share service opportunities available in Romania. Our team is also looking at options for an exploratory trip for educators to Chile & Argentina. Stay tuned for more details!
