It’s hard to believe that 2012 has flown by so quickly, but we are grateful for all that the year brought us. We celebrated our 30th anniversary at the end of the year! Thank you for helping us reach this wonderful milestone. We look forward to the next 30 years & continue to look for ways we can serve you better. By adding new team members, as well as focusing on enhaving our service offerings & internal processes, we strive to be the best possible resource for you, as a full-service travel agency.
New FTI Team Members
In 2012, we added three new employees & celebrated two title changes! Susan Gay was promoted to a Group Sales Agent. Susan has worked in Individual Sales for the past year & this experience will serve her new customers well, as she is well versed in both contracts & deviations. In addition, Alicia King has moved from our Tour Department into the Group Support department as our new Ticketing agent.
We also welcomed several new team members last year. Susan Komarnicki joined our Tour Department in January 2012. She is developing new tours & projects for FTI as well as custom designing your land itineraries for group tours. In April, Tish Marrero-Stone joined the Group team as a Sales Agent. Her upbeat attitude & willingness to serve has made her a great asset to the team. The Group Support department welcomed Anna-Lisa Todd in September. She will work closely with our Group Sales Agents to manage all the details of your group flight travel arranagments.
But wait, there’s more! We have also hired a new Individual Sales Agent. Deanna Schulz joined the team January 3! Visit www.facebook.com/FellowshipTravel to join us in welcoming our new team members & congratulating associates on internal promotions!
Working Together to Change Lives
We are grateful to have had the opportunity to play a small part in so many amazing humanitarian projects this past year. Working with clients like you. we provided logistics for health care projects throughout Central America, disaster relief teams to the Philippines & China, as well as feeding, housing & orphan care projects in developing nations throughout the world.
One organization sent 30+ teams of university students to destinations around the globe to partner with their peers on a variety of projects, including construction, concerts, & organizing food pantries. Another works with 30+ groups of primarily teen & pre-teen students teaching them how to help their global community. They travel to more than 30 countries to work with medical clinics; sports, drama & music; & orphan outreach; as well as contruction of everything from houses to bridges!
Speaking of our volunteer projects, we have several new sustainable outreach projects in areas, including Costa Rica, Argentina & Ethiopia. We’re also working with partners in Bhutan & Iceland to hook in to successful ongoing programs in those areas. As always, we will customize each trip to allow participants to choose their focus, duration & level of involvement. While many groups dedicate their entire trip to a volunteer project, it is also possible to add-on an afternoon or more of volunteer work to another itinerary, anywhere in the world.
It warms our hearts to hear stories of how our clients are making a difference in the lives of so many around the world. We’d love it if you share your story with us on Facebook.
That brings us up to date for now, but look forward to more exciting changes as the year progresses. In the meantime, if you have an upcoming trip, you can contact an FTI agent directly by calling 1-800-235-9384 or request a quote through our website, fellowship.com.
Once again, thank you for trusting FTI to serve you. We look forward to assisting with all of your travel arranagemtns in the coming year. May you have a healthy & prosperous year!
Best regards,
