FTI is proud to be a part of the Forum’s 13th Annual Conference this March. This event focuses on bringing educational leaders together to discuss students’ study abroad experience and the important issues impacting international education.

During our time in Seattle, we will network with individual institutions and consortiums who are promoting global learning through short-term study abroad.

Meet us There!

Sue Komarnicki and Lucy Yen will be available at Table 13 to speak with anyone who is interested in partnering with us.

FTI’s agents collaborate with International Programs offices and faculty leaders to design study tours that meet their curricular goals while simultaneously helping students develop cultural competency. Our experienced travel agents create custom experiences around the globe.

FTI’s partners on the ground provide safety, quality service and knowledgeable guides who help bridge cultural gaps. Together, we build academically-enriched itineraries that include: lectures and professional networking events, business site visits, and round table discussions. Students can also meet with locals and get behind-the-scenes access to a variety of venues.

The Forum on Education Abroad

The Forum’s institutional members include U.S. colleges and universities, overseas institutions, consortia, agencies, provider organizations and foundations. The Forum focuses on developing and implementing standards of good practice while encouraging and supporting research initiatives. The institute also offers educational programs and resources to its members.

Its mission is to help to improve education abroad programs to benefit the students. This happens by establishing standards of good practice and quality assurance programs, improving education abroad curricula, and promoting data collection and outcomes assessment. All this is done to advocate for high quality education abroad programs.

You can learn more about this the event by visiting the official conference website.

Let us know if you’ll also be at the Forum in 2017. We’d love to meet you!

It’s a big world. Get out there!
