We’d like to take a moment to share some of the exciting things that have been happening.
FTI Team News
This spring, we also celebrated the retirement of Jeff Compton, who fearlessly led the Group Sales department for more than 30 years. The reigns have been passed to another FTI veteran, Paula Price, who is now the Director of Sales and Operations. Go Paula!
We had some additional promotions on the FTI team. Angie Wood has taken on the role of HR and Accounting Manager, and Scotty Scott is now our IT Manager. We also promoted three team members to supervisor positions. Jenny Burkholder and Joan Hazelwood are now Sales Supervisors, and Anna-Lisa Todd has been promoted to the role of Support Supervisor. They are excited to share their wealth of knowledge and experience with their teams.
In 2019, we welcomed 6 new employees to the FTI family. We were thrilled to expand our sales team with the addition of Eric Thompson, Haley Francis, and Pamela Padgett. We also welcomed Amy Lane and Maddie McCormick to our support department, Tracey Bowles to our accounting department, as well as Colleen Warner to our marketing team! We’re happy to have their talents and wonderful personalities in the office.
Additionally, our IT department is currently searching for a Full Stack Java Developer. If you know someone in the Richmond area who you think would be a great fit, please let us know!
We also celebrated several milestone work anniversaries! Evelyn Best has been a member of the FTI family for 15 years, Kelly Carson 5 years, and Tara Dominguez (formerly Waters), Stacey Reid (formerly Price), and Lucy Yen hit the 3-year mark!
The FTI family also had some exciting life events take place this year. Cecilia became a U.S. citizen, and Evelyn, Tara, and Stacey got married. Congrats Cecilia, Tara, Stacey, and Evelyn!
Product & Service Enhancements
- Group leaders can now add frequent flyer numbers to Ubi. Additionally, we have added an option for passengers to add their own frequent flyer numbers when they register for the trip.
- Stay on top of your trip’s schedule by receiving alerts via email whenever there’s a change.
