Are you ready for an inspirational experience? An extended version of our 8-Day Holyland Tour, this 11-day tour takes you on a journey that will surely lift your spirit. Walk in the footsteps of Jesus & his disciples as you visit biblical sites situated throughout the Holy Land. At the end of the tour, you’ll also have the opportunity to visit Jordan & its amazing archaeological site, Petra.

Sample Itinerary

Day 1: Tel Aviv

Upon arrival at the airport, you will meet our representative and transfer to your hotel for overnight. 
 
Overnight in Tel-Aviv.

Day 2: Caesarea – Muhraka – Megiddo – Acre

Depart Tel Aviv and drive along the coastal plain to Caesarea, once the Roman capital of the region; visit the excavations of the ancient city, the Roman Theater and aqueduct. 

Travel to Muhraka, the site of confrontation between Elijah and the prophets of Baal; enjoy the spectacular view of the Jezreel Valley and the lower Galilee. Continue to Megiddo, identified as the site of Armageddon; learn the impressive history of this battlefield as you visit the archaeological excavations, including the well-preserved water supply system. 

Continue on to Acre to visit the remarkable underground Crusader City and crypt; walk through the Old City, recognized by UNESCO as a world heritage site, and visit the local market and harbor. 

Continue to Kinar Galilee hotel for overnight.

Day 3: Tiberias – Capernaum – Banias

After a short tour of Tiberias, enjoy a boat ride on the Sea of Galilee. Then, visit the Yigal Allon Center where the "Jesus boat," an ancient fishing boat from the 1st century, is displayed. Continue to Capernaum to visit the remains of the 2nd century synagogue. Stop at Tabgha, the site of the Miracle of Fish and Loaves, and visit the Church of Multiplication with its 4th-century mosaic floor. 

Enjoy the beautiful view atop the Mount of Beatitudes, the place where Jesus delivered the Sermon on the Mount. End the day with a drive to the Banias springs and tour of the Golan Heights.

Return to Kinar Galilee hotel for overnight.

Day 4: Cana – Nazareth – Yardenit – Beit She’an

Start the morning with a trip to Cana to visit the Wedding Church, where Jesus performed his first miracle turning water into wine. Continue to Nazareth to see the Church of Annunciation, Joseph’s workshop and Mary’s well. 

Then, visit Yardenit, the baptismal site on the Jordan River, followed by a stop at Beit She'an to visit the ancient Roman city and amphitheater. 

Drive along the Jordan Valley to Jerusalem for overnight.

Day 5: Jerusalem (Old City)

Drive to the Mount of Olives for a panoramic view of the city and visit to the Church of All Nations. Next, enter the city to see King David’s Tomb and the Room of Last Supper on Mt. Zion. 

In the Old City, we'll walk along the Cardo, the ancient roman road and visit the Jewish and Christian quarters. Stop at the Jewish Wailing Wall, and view the Temple Mount. Then, walk along the Via Dolorosa past the oriental Bazaar to visit the Church of Holy Sepulchre. We'll end our day at the Garden Tomb, enjoying the beautiful gardens and peaceful ambiance. 

Overnight  in Jerusalem.

Day 6: Jerusalem (Old City & Bethlehem)

After breakfast, we'll drive to Ein Karem to visit the Church of Visitation. Then, we'll visit Yad Vashem, Israel’s official memorial to the Holocaust. Later, we'll see where the Dead Sea scrolls are housed and a miniature model of Jerusalem as it was during the Second Temple period during our visit to the Israel Museum and the Shrine of the Book.  

Subject to security conditions, we'll drive to Jesus' birthplace in Bethlehem. There, we'll stop at Shepherds' Field, walk through Manger Square, and take in the remarkable Church of Nativity and its art from around the globe.

Overnight in Jerusalem.

Day 7: Qumran – Masada – Dead Sea

We'll start the day with a drive through the Judaean Hills to the Qumran Caves, where the Dead Sea scrolls were found, then drive along the shores of the Dead Sea to Masada. This former fortress of Herod was the last stronghold of the Jews after the destruction of the Second Temple in 70 AD. Ascend Masada by cable car and explore the remains of the walls, water cistern and Herod’s Palace. 

Continue on to the Dead Sea, the lowest point on earth. Here, you can enjoy an ultra-buoyant float in the water and cover yourself with the mineral-rich mud, believed to have therapeutic effects. 

Return to Jerusalem for overnight.

Day 8: Timna – Eilat

This morning, travel south through the Negev desert. We’ll stop at Timna, a large geological and archaeological park to marvel at the multi-colored rock formations, the copper mines, and Solomon's Pillars. 

We’ll continue on to Eilat, the southernmost resort city on the shores of the Red Sea. Here, we’ll visit the Underwater Observatory Marine Park, built into a coral reef, and enjoy the opportunity for a close-up look at the rich marine life of the Gulf of Eilat.

Day 9: Petra

Today will be spent at your leisure in Eilat or discovering the astonishing rose-red city built by the Nabataeans (an early Arab tribe).  

After assistance with border formalities, drive straight to Petra, renowned for its massive architecture, pools, dams and water channels. The visit begins with the possibility of a short horseback ride for about 700m, until the entrance of the Siq, which is about 1.2 km long (walking distance). 

Petra is famous for its huge monuments such as the treasury, royal tombs, the court, Roman theatre, Roman street, Qasr al-Bint (Palace of Pharaoh’s daughter), and many other smaller fascinating monuments. The city itself is almost 45km² and is one of the new 7 Wonders of the World. 

After the visit, it’s time for lunch in a nearby restaurant. After lunch, drive back to border. On the way, a short visit to Aqaba with the possibility to stop and take a walk around. Transfer to the border and cross back to Eilat. 

Overnight Eilat.

Day 10: Ramon Crater – Sde Boker – Bedouin Camp

After breakfast, we’ll depart Eilat via Mitzpe Ramon to stop and gaze at the Ramon crater. Next, we’ll travel to Sde Boker and see Ben Gurion's hut and grave, which overlooks the magnificent Zin Valley. 

Ready for a camel ride? Today, we’re visiting an authentic Bedouin camp to learn about the Bedouin hospitality and enjoy a light lunch. 

Later, we’ll visit Israel's Airforce Museum in Hatzerim to see some planes and hear the stories of this brave military force. 

Overnight Tel Aviv.

Day 11: Tel Aviv – USA

Enjoy breakfast before transferring to the airport for departure, or spend the day sightseeing on your own and take a late day return flight. If you choose to depart in the evening on Day 11, you will arrive home on Day 12.
