From the open plains & mountains to the unique variety of wildlife roaming the world’s most ancient desert, Namibia is truly a destination filled with seemingly endless wonders. 

Discover the fascinating marvels of one of the driest places on earth, the Namib Desert. Walk along the tall, glistening red dunes, some of which surpass 300 meters high. Relax under the old Camelthorn trees, enjoy some of the most beautiful sunrises & sunsets, & more.

  • Namib-Naukluft Park – Covering over 19,000 square miles, the park is home to some of the world’s highest sand dunes, a diverse variety of wildlife, & endless beautiful landscapes.

Sample Itinerary

Day 1: Johannesburg – Windhoek

Depart Johannesburg at noon & travel to Windhoek. Upon arrival, transfer to the hotel. 

Day 2: Windhoek – Namib Desert

Leave Windhoek midday & journey to the Namib Desert. Enjoy traveling along scenic routes, such as the Spreetshoogte Pass & Solitaire, on the way to the world’s most ancient & driest desert. 

Day 3: Namib Desert

Visit Namib-Naukluft Park at sunrise this morning & view the dunes as the early morning light hits them. Head through the Tsauchab River Valley to one of the park’s most famous areas, the clay-bottom pan known as Sossusvlei. Here you will find some of the world’s highest sand dunes. Sit & relax under the old Camelthorn trees, & enjoy a picnic-style lunch. On the way back to the hotel, feast your eyes upon the unique rock formations at Sesriem Canyon. This evening, enjoy a South West African sunset on a drive to Marble Mountain. 

Day 4: Namib Desert – Windhoek

In the morning, return to Windhoek along the winding roads of Remshoogte Pass. Enjoy the remainder of the afternoon & evening at leisure. 

Day 5: Windhoek – Johannesburg

Relax & enjoy the morning at leisure. Around noon, transfer to the airport & board return flight to Johannesburg.
