You’ll be inspired as you journey across the nation, visiting villages & towns along the way. Visit the valley where Joshua battled the Canaanite kings, & walk down the road where Jesus carried his cross. Learn about the Kibbutz culture, walk through the Forest of the Martyrs, & more. Don’t miss this incredible opportunity to see the Holy Land, up close & personal. 

This 46-mile tour is offered every Sunday to Sunday.

Sample Itinerary

Day 1: Tel Aviv – Jaffa

Arrive at the airport in Tel Aviv, & transfer to the hotel in Jaffa. Enjoy a welcome dinner this evening, followed by an overnight stay. 

Day 2: Jaffa – Ayalon Valley – Neve Shalom

In the morning, begin walking through Old Jaffa, where you’ll see Simon the Tanner’s House, Jaffa’s old port, & St. Peter’s Church. Next, head to the village of Karmei Yosef to begin today’s second walking tour. You will walk through Ayalon Valley, where Joshua battled & defeated Canaanite kings, as depicted in the Old Testament. You’ll also visit the Monastery of the Silent Monks & Tel Gezer National Park. The walking tour ends upon arrival in Neve Shalom. Enjoy dinner & an overnight stay amidst the Judean Mountains.  

Day 3: Neve Shalom – Burma Road – Shoresh

Today you will walk through history, as you trek along the Israeli Burma Road. Highlights of the ten mile route include memorials from the Israeli-Arab War of 1948 & scenic views of the surrounding landscapes. The trek ends as you arrive in the village of Shoresh. Enjoy dinner at a local restaurant this evening. 

Day 4: Shoresh –Forest of the Martyrs – Ein Rafa – Tzuba

Remember the victims of the Holocaust today as you walk through the Forest of the Martyrs. The various species of trees living within the forest are the designated monuments for the Jewish victims. You’ll also see the Anne Frank Memorial while in the forest. Head through the village of Ein Rafa afterward. The last stretch of today’s journey takes you to Tzuba, where you’ll learn about the Kibbutz culture.

Day 5: Tzuba – Ein Karem

During the beginning part of today’s journey to Ein Karem, you will see the location of the ancient Jewish town of Tel Tzuba. Its existence dates back to the time of King David. The route is graced by nature’s beauty, with orchards, vineyards, & olive groves. Make a stop at the St. John in the Wilderness monastery before arriving in Ein Karem. Since today’s walk is somewhat short, at four to five hours long, you’ll enjoy time to explore Ein Karem. Believed to be the birthplace of John the Baptist, the village is home to the Church of the Visitation & Mary’s Spring. Enjoy dinner at a local restaurant this evening. 

Day 6: Ein Karem – Motza – Jerusalem

Cross through the Sorek Stream during today’s journey to Jerusalem. This stream, noted in the Old Testament, runs from the city of Jerusalem out to the Mediterranean Sea. Enjoy a stop in Motza, where you will visit a jewelry factory & an ancient winery. Before today’s seven & a half mile route comes to an end, see the deserted buildings of Lifta, a city once inhabited by Palestinian Arabs. Enjoy dinner & an overnight stay in Jerusalem. 

Day 7: Jerusalem

After breakfast, enjoy a full-day guided tour of the city. Walk to the Jaffa Gate, & discover the treasures of Jerusalem’s Old City. Highlights include the Jewish Quarter & the Tower of David. Next, ascend up onto Mount Zion, where you’ll see King David’s Tomb & the Last Supper Room. Walk through the Garden of Gethsemane, visit the Western Wall, & see the Dome of the Rock. Walk down the Via Dolorosa, believed to be where Jesus carried his cross. Other highlights include the Garden Tomb & the Church of the Holy Sepulture. After the walking tour, spend the remainder of the day at leisure. Or, continue touring Jerusalem as you visit the museum at the Tower of David, & end the evening with dinner by the Jaffa Gate & a sound & light show at the Tower of David (optional).  

Day 8: Jerusalem – Tel Aviv – USA

Transfer to the airport in Tel Aviv, & board return flight home.
