Detailed Tour Description

Admire one of the city’s newer additions, the new Slovak National Theatre. Its new age design is significantly different than its sister building, the early 20th-century old Slovak National Theatre building. Visit the Slovak Radio building, a communist-era landmark; hardly unforgettable with its notable odd shape. Head across the SNP Bridge, known for the spacecraft-shaped restaurant towering above it. See a large residential area that still consists of numerous communist-style housing units. Enjoy great views of Bratislava from the Slavin Memorial all while learning about the monument’s WWII history. Embrace Bratislava from centuries past, with guided tours of the charming Bratislava Castle & St. Martin’s Cathedral. See the Grassalkovich Palace, & walk through Freedom Square.
