Specialized Program: Thai Culture & Village Volunteer Project
The program features both guided sightseeing tours & cultural activities & a volunteer project in one of Thailand’s remote villages. Volunteer activities include teaching English, gardening, engaging in sports activities with the children, janitorial work, & leading arts & crafts activities. Non-volunteer activities include a guided tour of Thailand’s capital city, meditation lessons from Buddhists monks, Thai cooking lessons, & visits to the UNESCO World Heritage Site, Ayutthaya Historical Park, & the nearby elephant village.
