Home to the FTSE 100 stock index, Bank of England, and an array of international business headquarters, London is the perfect destination to learn about finance and business as well as get introduced to this historic European city. You may elect to meet with entrepreneurs and start-ups, interview international business representatives, or explore a corporate headquarters, all while experiencing the rich London cultural scene.

  • Lecture from Business Success Stories – Hear about how companies structure themselves for success; you’ll also better understand the business, media and marketing strategies.
  • Meet and Greet with Senior Business Officials - Meet with CEOs from some of London’s premier businesses to learn more about executive leaderships, the industry, and business strategies.
  • Financial District – Take a walking tour of this bustling neighborhood where you will learn about area’s rich history as well as its modern relevance for the global economy.
  • Bank of England Museum - Browse the exhibitions and collections as well as participate in a workshop on the contemporary economic climate as well as the role of the Bank.

Itinerary

Day 1: London

Upon arrival in the U.K., meet your guide for transfer to your London accommodation. After a short orientation session, set off for your guided tour of London. There will be a number of chances to disembark the coach and see some of the terrific sites London has to offer. You’ll want to bring your camera! 

Day 2: London

This morning, head to the program headquarters for an interactive lecture on a specialized topic of your group’s choice led by a leader in the industry. Following the lecture, enjoy some free time for lunch. You’ll then continue on to a business site visit to one Old Street’s start-up companies. Meet with team executives, learn about the company’s work, and hear how Old Street has become a focal point for entrepreneurs. 

Day 3: London

Kick off the day with an early trip to Tower of London to catch the opening ceremony. This is a special event only available to select groups with access to the Tower.  After you and your military escort march to open the Tower, take some time to snap some pictures before attending the Ceremony of the Keys (no photos allowed at this ceremony). As one of London’s top tourist attractions, hear from one of the Tower’s Sales and Marketing about its operations and its role in the tourist industry. After the lecture, your group may choose to supplement your Tower adventure with a Beefeater tour, where you’ll learn more about the Tower’s history, torture, and its many secrets.
This afternoon, meet with a CEO from one of London’s digital marketing companies to learn more about marketing, company structure, and more. 

Day 4: London

Head to the heart of London’s financial district where you will meet your guide for a walking tour of this bustling neighborhood.  Learn about the area’s rich history as well as its modern relevance for the global economy. 
After lunch, sit in on a lecture from the marketing team of a leading London retailer.  You’ll hear how the company has structured itself for success, of which an important feature has been its commitment to corporate responsibility.  With a tour of the space, you’ll also better understand the business, media and marketing strategies. 

Day 5: London

Your first stop today is at one of the country’s most well known financial institutions and you will have the chance to explore their iconic building, during which you may even be able to pay a visit to their trading floor (depends on availability).  As a member of the staff, your tour leader will be able to provide you with behind the scenes knowledge about the company.
This afternoon, make the short trip over the Bank of England Museum. The museum is part of the beautiful Bank of England building. During your visit, you will be able to peruse the exhibitions and collections as well as participate in a workshop on the contemporary economic climate as well as the role of the Bank.
This evening, relax in the theater district, where you will take in one the most magical musicals in London. 

Day 6: London

Enjoy the entire day at your leisure before reconvening this evening for a farewell group dinner a local pub.  You may consider taking a double-decker bus tour, or independently exploring some of London’s famous attractions.

Day 7: London - USA

Meet your airport transfer after hotel check out.
