Itinerary

Day 1: Havana

Arrive in Cuba & take a bus tour of Modern Havana, followed by hotel check in & a welcome dinner. The evening is free for you to explore on your own. 

Day 2: Havana

Start your day with a walking tour of Old Havana, a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1982. You will see architectural wonders such as the Arms Square, the Saint Francis of Assisi Square, the Old Square, the Cathedral Square & the Bodeguita del Medio. Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant. Afterward, visit the National Association of Cuban Jurists (UNJC) followed by a meeting with the representatives of the Cuban Society of Constitutional Law to discuss legal & electoral systems in Cuba. 

Day 3: Havana

Enjoy an authentic Cuban lunch at a local restaurant followed by a meeting with the representatives of the Cuban Society on International Law. Discuss the tumultuous history between the United States & Cuba. Afterward, eat dinner at a local restaurant followed by a free evening to engage in cultural activities. 

Day 4: Havana - Matanzas

Depart for Matanzas, a province in western Cuba also known as “The City of Bridges.” Stop by one of its most well-known bridges, the Bacunayagua Bridge, for a great view of an incredible civil engineering wonder. Afterward, enjoy a relaxing bus tour followed by a visit to a publishing house to learn about Cuban efforts to promote its young authors. Then, check into your hotel & enjoy a delicious dinner.  

Day 5: Matanzas - Havana

Check out of your hotel & return to Havana. Enjoy a free evening to explore or participate in local cultural activities. 

Day 6: Havana

Start your day meeting with members of the Cuban Society on Civil & Family Law to learn about how they serve the Cuban people. Then, visit local law offices to discuss civil & criminal law in Cuba. Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant, followed by a visit to the Cuban Society on Criminal Sciences to discuss the legal & criminal system in Cuba. Enjoy a farewell dinner before your return home.

Day 7: Havana

Check out of your hotel & depart for José Martí International Airport to return home.
