Itinerary

Day 1: Rome

Arrive at the hotel, & spend the remainder of the day at leisure. 

Day 2: Rome

Enjoy a continental breakfast, followed by a city sightseeing tour to see some of Rome’s monuments, including: Republic Square, Via Nazionale, the Arts Museum, the Spanish Steps, the Colosseum, Trevi Fountain, the Pantehon, the Vatican, Castel S. Angelo, & Piazza Navona with Bernini’s famous Fountain of the Four Rivers.

Day 3: Rome

Transfer to the airport.

  • Ancient Rome ½ Day Tour - Look into the past through: Piazza Venezia (stop), the Capitol Square (visit), the Roman Forum, Church of San Pietro in Vincoli with Michelangelo’s statue of Moses, the Colosseum, the Pyramid of Caius Cestius, the Basilica of St. Paul (visit), & Circo Maximus.
  • Vatican Museum ½ Day Tour - Marvel at the immenseness of the Vatican, including: Castel S. Angelo, the Mermaid Fountain, the Vatican Museums (visit), The Sistine Chapel, the Baths of Diocleziano, the Aurelian Walls, & the Vatican Library. Ask about a visit to the Necropolis - the underground city of the dead.
  • Christian Rome ½ Day Tour - You’ll see: the Basilica of St. Maria Maggiore (visit), the Holy Stairs (visit), Via Merulana, Old Appian Way, the Basilica of St. John Lateran (visit), Porta San Sebastiano, Quo Vadis Chapel, the Catacombs (visit), Viale Aventino, & Circus Maximus.
