Overview

The Westin Reserva Conchal Golf Resort & Spa is one of the few resorts that are truly all-inclusive in Costa Rica. Located on 2,400 acres, this beautiful, eco-friendly retreat is set between the tropical jungle & pristine beaches of Playa Conchal in Costa Rica's North Pacific Riviera.

There are 406 stunning guest rooms with a private balcony or terrace, ideal for soaking up the sun or just enjoying the views of this beautiful property. The resort offers a number of activities to suit your mood – swimming in the lagoon-style pools, relaxing at The Spa or getting active with some tennis or golf. You can also explore nearby attractions, such as the secluded beaches of Tamarindo or Las Baulas National Park.

After a fun-filled day, enjoy fine dining at one of the 8 contemporary restaurants, serving flavors from around the world – from Latin, Asian fusion & continental buffets to northern Italian cuisine.

Carbono Neutral Certification Logo

Commitment to the Environment

The first hotel in Latin America to receive ISO 14001 certification for its environmental management system, the Westin is also the first all-inclusive beach hotel in Latin America to qualify as carbon positive. They focus on clean energy & water conservation, waste minimization & environmentally responsible purchasing, integrated pest management practices & raising community awareness.

The 96-acre wildlife reserve is their biggest commitment to natural preservation & carbon neutrality. Birds, moneys, floral species & mammals of all kinds live in a broad range of ecosystems, including tropical dry forest, an estuary & a mangrove swamp. They strive to keep these native species undisturbed & give  guests a taste of Costa Rica's natural landscape.

Commitment to the Community

Seeking to empower local women in the community, they also host an organic farming initiative called ”Hortalizas Najui.” (“Hortalizas” are vegetables, and “Najui” is a Chorotega word for women). The organic vegetables sowed in Reserva Conchal are sold to the restaurants at the Westin, which helps the supply of fresh ingredients for every kitchen.

The Reserva Conchal has also donated land & equipment to start a medical clinic & continuously-manned police center. Plus, their volunteer program supports reforestation activities, the local food bank, emergency services, support for indigenous communities & maintenance of parks/community centers.
